Is your headshot yellow? Orange? Purple? Do you look like you are about to fall off your stool? Are your flyaway hairs still flying?
These are just a sample of the flaws I see in headshots as I scan Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, Websites, TV Commercials, billboards, etc. The largest part of my headshot session may be the impact facial expressions have on the viewer, but at it's core, a professional headshot images needs to be of the highest quality available. Correct skin tone, Subtle retouching, Attention to detail and posing are critical to master in order to get out of a headshot what you need to represent our personal brand. If you are in a profession where you are drawing in clients and customers they are going to judge you, your company and your product by the quality of your image. If you settle for mediocre, and in many cases amateur images your customer base is going to see that as your first impression.
My coaching and ability to relate to my clients certainly sets my work apart but it's the finishing touches I apply to your images after you leave the studio that represent you as someone who puts quality first. Your clients won't settle for mediocre...You shouldn't either.
